Sundeala FR Board Confirmed to be Coronavirus Free After Just Five Minutes!
In independent laboratory test results received today, it was confirmed that Sundeala FR Board has impressive resistance to human coronavirus, proving to be 100% virus free only five minutes after infection.

ISO 17025 Compliant UK Laboratory Testing
Indoor Biotechnologies, recently awarded an Innovate UK grant for the development of a T Cell test for Covid-19, is a global immunodiagnostics and biotechnology company, specialises in the development of innovative products and services in the areas of Immunological and Environmental Sciences.
Indoor Biotech formulated a series of tests designed to robustly test both the surface and fibres of our sheet material to determine how long coronavirus was detectable after the point of infection.
Human Coronavirus Testing
It was essential for us to understand how the board responded to human coronavirus in the most ‘real life’ situation possible. The laboratory applied for and procured human coronavirus samples which they cultured in cells derived from human lung tissue before testing at room temperature to simulate a ‘real world’ scenario as closely as possible.
Multi-Sample Testing
Tests were performed on multiple occasions, at various time points across multiple board samples to ensure the results were scientifically robust.
The results found that Sundeala FR was 100% virus free internally and externally after five minutes.
We are delighted that we can confidently say that environments are safer from viral transmission where Sundeala is used extensively as wall cladding or partition screening.
